SwimWays Gobble Gobble Guppies

You guys. You see that kid right there? Just a few weeks ago, he didn’t want ANYTHING to do with the pool. Like, at all. He didn’t want to get in, he didn’t want to be splashed, he didn’t want to be near it. After throwing in the SwimWays Gobble Gobble Guppies and SquiDivers pool toys, the kid RAN to the pool and got right in.

Whoa.

I don’t know what it was, but it was awesome. He had a BLAST in the pool that afternoon.

Gobble Gobble Guppies from SwimWays

The Gobble Gobble Guppies is a really cute toy for the pool (or bathtub even). Toddlers can practice colors and counting as the shark gobbles up the little fishies and swims around the pool or tub. The kids had fun scooping up the fish or just manually “feeding” the shark.

The other toy we received, which is a little harder to photograph, were SquiDivers.

Squidivers for diving and splashing funThe SquiDivers get thrown into a pool and turn upside down in the water, at the bottom, with their “tentacles” pointed to the sky. Kids who are comfortable in deeper water can dive down to retrieve them – or in our case, they just reached down and grabbed them. Then they threw them, which results in some nice splashing. Be careful though – getting hit in the arm by one of these stings!

Being a SwimWays Ambassador has been a lot of fun – we’ve been in the pool, getting wet, and having fun! The toddlers aren’t so much interested in actual swimming, but the more comfortable they become with the water, the movement of the water, and water on their face, the more successful at learning to swim they will be.
