Send help. I’m dealing with those two… while cute and sometimes cuddly, they are sick. And by sick, I mean throwing up and cranky. By cranky, I mean they are downright awful – crying, complaining, whining.
G has been able to drink some Pedialyte, and even ate a banana squeeze pouch (just bananas), but refuses crackers or a bagel. H had a 4oz bottle around 5am, and about 1 oz around 9:30am. I’ll keep offering small amounts and just keeping them comfortable.
I hate sick kids. I love my kids, don’t get me wrong, but because of the throwing up and the crankiness last night, G would not sleep. And if he did, it was only for about 30 minutes. Then he would start whining, then crying, and he wouldn’t stop for 30-45 minutes. Then he’d pass back out, and the cycle went like that all night long. H, on the other hand, slept fine. I wish I could have been her – curled up with a blankie on my side sleeping away. I think I got about 2 hours? Maybe? That might be wishful thinking. I’m exhausted.
I hope this ends soon. The oldest had it Friday night/overnight and was fine on Saturday.
So today is being spent cuddling babies, offering bits of plain food, keeping them hydrated, and lots of cartoons and movies. First up? “The Lorax”.

Aww…I’m so sorry. I hope they are showing some improvement by today, and also hoping you got some rest last night! Last time my babies got the stomach bug, I got it right along with them, and we were all puking and of all times I needed some help, Daddy had to work almost a double shift. My thoughts are with you! ~Hugs
