We celebrated another birthday, and this time we had a royal guest – a princess minion! This is exactly what miss Haley asked for. I kept asking her, giving her ideas, and she came up with “princess minion”, so we went with it!
Our wonderful “cake lady”, Night Kitchen Cakes, did another amazing job. Yes, that’s a finger print in the small cake, it was too tempting! One of the best and most simple things she could have done, the lace trim around the border made it absolutely girly and pretty! Gah, I’m in love! This princess minion has her very own birthday cake, topped with a castle, Princess Sofia and Ariel! Yes, I had to, but these are Haley’s favorites and it’s so perfectly her.
I know this looks like a huge cake (someone commented on Facebook that it looks like it could feed 500!), but here’s how tall it really is…
(Sorry for the bad pic, the sun was going down and the birthday girl was already chowing down!) See, it’s not THAT big!
You guys, ordering cakes like this has been so much fun. The excitement in their eyes is so worth it. I don’t care if we aren’t throwing a party, this has been so special and memorable! We have one more birthday, and this kid will not. stop. talking. about. it. He’s excited for his special cake!
